Welcome To The Crump
Welcome back to The Crump Theatre, an old 700-seat opera house in Columbus, Indiana
In 1976, John Mellencamp played his first official concert for cash at the Crump. In the fall of 2008, Mellencamp returned to the Crump for a rare event.
The event was a silent auction to benefit flood victims in Bartholomew County and surrounding areas. Not only bringing back great times and lifted many spirits, the concert raised over $43,000 to benefit individuals displaced from their homes due to flooding in the Spring of that same year. (K20D)
